I wrote this song when I first moved out to Orange county from my Native Inglewood, right around the time i was getting kick out of my first rented room on my own away from my parents. I was learning quickly that people I'd come to consider trustworthy friends were proving to be quite the opposite. I was overwhelmed by i feeling of guilt and loneliness leave behind people I knew for sure loved and cared for me; people I missed so much that it tore me apart to be away from them after being used to seeing their faces and relying on that support on a daily basis. I Felt lost somewhere stuck between a world I'd decided I needed to leave behind in search of something more only to find myself misplaced, seeming floating about destined to fail at everything I was attempting to accomplish. This song is for the people back home I know love me as much as I love them.
